Studio 5

The flowers have hit it big and made their first television appearance. In front of a live audience no less. Britney Egbert of One Charming Party was a guest on Studio 5 and spoke about throwing the perfect baby shower. She asked me to arrange one large arrangement (to use for a centerpiece at the party) that was actually made up of 5-6 mini bouquets. She then suggested using each mini bouquet as a party favor! That’s clever.

Scott loves Lexy

Scott and Lexy are too cute. For their big day, they requested bright, cheerful, fun, flowers with a touch of whimsy. Some of the beautiful details included the streaming ribbons, teal bouillon wire, and the incorporation of Lexy’s grandmother’s brooch into her bouquet. The freesia, dahlias, snapdragons, billy buttons, chinese lanterns, coxcomb, zinnias, and roses made a dramatic statement against the white St. George temple and black volcanic rock of Cedar Canyon.

The amazing poppy cake was baked and decorated by the amazing Sugared Magnolia.

Justin loves Candice

This wedding was gorgeous. Candice chose hot pink and orange with lime green accents for her colors and it was so much fun to create. A bountiful mix of peonies, coxcomb, fern curls, anemones, gladiolus blooms, ti leaves, bear grass, and equisteum created a monochromatic bouquet full of texture, just like Candice requested. The peonies were amazing….sometimes they are too much to handle, don’t you think? The following pictures were taken by the extremely talented Michelle Sallay.

Raggedy Ann Party

The darling and fabulous Britney of One Charming Party asked me to arrange two pieces for the Raggedy Ann party she created. It was so much fun! She gave me a color scheme and a few ideas and let me go from there. I made the paper flowers to tie in the Raggedy Ann theme. I think it turned out quite cute.

One charming and delightful, little weekend

A girls-only weekend full of snacks, jokes, gossip (just a little), and plain old fun. Each guest received a care package. The packages included two juicy clementines, mini notepads, orange slices, peach rings, goldfish crackers, and a monogrammed tag. The dining table donned a homemade wire globe (made by Kingbird Design) and a pretty milk glass vase full of clementines. The weekend was a (serious) delight.

This extra sweet wedding featured tulips, queen anne’s lace, freesia, delphinium, stock, spanish moss, and roses. Spring was definitely present with the simple details and soft color palette. The centerpieces, arranged after the style of a terrarium, graced each table along with a menagerie of bird figurines.

Baby’s breath was the focal flower used for Zach and Emmie’s beautiful winter wedding. The baby’s breath was lovely, light, airy, and created a wonderfully vintage feeling for their big day.
